Austria is currently subject to restrictions on entering the country and also has rules in place on leaving the home and meeting other people. Hospitality locations, hotels and other accommodation providers will remain closed until at least the end of February 2021. Any decision on opening hotels and hospitality will be based in particular on the number of new infections. A meeting of experts will take place on 1 March 2021 to discuss the next steps. Since 12.02.2021 a negative Covid test is required in order to travel out of Tirol. This test must be no more than 48 hours old. East Tirol is exempt from this rule.
