1. Which rules currently apply in Tirol?

The following rules currently apply:
  • There are currently no Coronavirus measures in place in most areas of daily life (with the exception of high-risk settings such as hospitals).
  • It is recommended that an FFP2 face mask should be worn in situations and settings where several people meet and are not able to practise social distancing.

2. FFP2 face masks. Who has to wear one and in which situations?

  • A FFP2 mask is sompulsory in vulnerable settings (e.g. hospitals, care homes).
  • People who have been confirmed as testing positive for Coronavirus can end their quarantine period after five days if they have been symptom-free for 48 hours. However, they are still subject to restrictions when it comes to contact with other people and must wear an FFP2 face mask (for more details see section "Staying healthy")
  • It is recommended that an FFP2 face mask should be worn in situations and settings where several people meet and are not able to practise social distancing.
